Review Thursday // The Honest Company
So as you know I am an unemployed single mom building a business. If you know anything about entrepreneurship the first year is is the hardest financially. Boy, has it been HARD! There have been days when I didn’t know where my next penny would be coming from… “So Trezelle,” you say “where have you been finding money to purchase these beautiful plant based toxic free diapers that you brag about?” Well, ladies and gentlemen, I have some of the most amazing friends/family a woman can ask for.
My angel is 1 and by the end of October, my plan is to have her potty trained. And I’m proud to say that she has never had to use any of these ugly toxic filled diapers that you see around. $80 a month for a box of gorgeous, protective diapers and 4 packs of wipes! I’ll take it. My boo has never won nonplant based. Along with the other diapers, I’ve tried honest far our wins the rest.
I’ve wanted to write a post about my experience with the Honest company but I’ve been occupied. Being a new mom and entrepreneur in the same year ia not easy. Im growing and learning along with my baby. I first became acquainted with honest co from an ad that popped up on youtube while I was watching a video (I was pregnant then). I got their trial size and purchased my first diaper bundle a couple weeks after. Man, I remember freaking out while pregnant that I wouldn’t be able to take care of my baby alone as a single mom, I remember thinking about how inadequate I was. But when I first held her in my arms I knew we were a match made in heaven. Being able to buy the diapers in a bundle gave me ease and confidence that once she had those wipes and diapers she was good. Honest company and breastfeeding both helped me save money.
Invest in your child’s health & safety. And if you didn’t know most other non-organic/plant-based disposable diapers get taken to the landfill and stays there. Honest company diapers are environmentally friends which means it breaks down and doesn’t add to the environmental problems we’re having.
Chose honest. You will be glad you did.
